Video Postcards from Marisa & Matt’s Unforgettable Philadelphia Wedding

When Matt and Marisa chose to exchange their vows in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, they picked two iconic venues that truly set the stage for a day of elegance, culture, and timeless beauty. Their wedding at the Rodin Museum, followed by a reception at the Barnes Foundation, was a perfect blend of art, romance, and personal significance.

As a wedding videographer based in Southern California, I feel incredibly lucky to travel and capture love stories like Matt and Marisa’s, especially when they take me all the way across the country. From the breathtaking architectural beauty of the Rodin Museum to the world-class art collection at the Barnes Foundation, every detail of their day was designed with elegance in mind, and it was an honor to document these moments in cinematic detail.

Philadelphia played a special role in the couples love story - the city where they both went to school, where they first met and went on their first date, where they bought their first home together and now where they got married! 🥹

Whether it was the tender first look between Matt and Marisa or the joyous celebration with their closest family and friends, I made sure to capture every candid moment with authenticity and heart. My true-to-color editing style allows me to preserve the natural beauty of each moment, and as a Southern California wedding videographer, I pride myself on delivering cinematic wedding films that feel as real and vibrant as the day itself.

The day began in the most relaxed, heartfelt way—at Marisa’s home with her bridesmaids. There’s something so special about filming the bride and her closest friends as they prep for the big day. The vibe was calm, joyful, and full of laughter. Marisa was surrounded by her girls, all supporting her with so much love and excitement. Watching Marisa and her girls share quiet, meaningful moments together was a beautiful way to kick off this unforgettable day.

The ceremony at the Rodin Museum was absolutely gorgeous. The stunning architecture and peaceful gardens set the perfect tone for an intimate, emotional ceremony. Matt and Marisa’s vows to each other were so heartfelt and personal that it felt like everyone in the audience was right there with them. Seriously, I don’t think there was a dry eye in the house! (Definitely not mine!) Capturing their vows, and the way they looked at each other, was so powerful. It’s these emotional, candid moments that I absolutely love filming—moments that make the day feel real and raw. Watching them promise each other forever, in that beautiful space, was something I’ll never forget.

Following the ceremony, the evening moved to the Barnes Foundation, another iconic Philadelphia venue known for its stunning art collection and modern architectural design. The reception was a perfect blend of art, culture, and celebration, with guests enjoying delicious food, heartfelt speeches, and an unforgettable dance floor.

Even through 100 degree weather, that didn’t stop anyone from living it up on the dance floor. The bride and groom both had an outfit change - so epic, we love to see it!

Thank you so much for allowing me to witness your love and be there to capture your love story! It is the greatest honor to preserve these memories and create a story of your day to last a lifetime.

Xoxo,

Cayla
